Two home mortgage consultants say Wells Fargo’s time keeping and payroll practices violated federal wage law and shortchanged them and thousands of other employees in a new proposed collective action.

Wells Fargo required these employees to work off-the-clock without pay, miscalculated their overtime rates, and deducted previously paid hourly and overtime wages, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
